About This Cause
The East Coast Asian American Student Union (ECAASU) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to inspire, educate, and empower those interested in Asian and Asian American (A/A) issues. Run solely by volunteers, ECAASU’s advocacy work is conducted through outreach to A/A students organizations across the country and educating individuals on becoming agents of change through the various programs we hold over the course of the year, including an annual conference. ECAASU has hosted more than 40 conferences and our 41 years of learning and growing has pushed ECAASU to higher limits than ever before. The organization’s membership is primarily composed of students from the eastern United States while its annual conferences draw students and activists from across the country.
