About This Cause
The families in our program are referred to us by many affiliated organizations, religious entities, schools, judicial placement and socially conscious local businesses and corporations. At-risk families, mean they maybe facing problems such as: -Economic stress issues (i.e. loss of income, unforeseen large debts and bills ,homelessness and, transients. -Substance abuse, child abuse and neglect or domestic violence in the home. - Divorce, Grief , Custodial issues -Child development/Educational support needs. -Health, Mental health and Counseling resources. -Food Insecurity, Lack of resources and Nutritional needs. -Behavioral challenges. -Family/Children with disabilities. -Adult literacy and or health literacy concerns. - Mindfulness and Wellness Coaching.
