Mission Statement
1. Igniting hope in the hearts of Anglo youth in Israel who face setbacks and difficult challenges. 2. Offering professionally trained mentors to promote positive identity, serve as role models, improve cognitive skills and enhance youths' social and emotional well-being. 3. Creating a circle of support between youth, family members, educators and mental health professionals. 4. Preventing destructive behavior and stemming the high drop-out rate among Anglo youth in Israel. 5. Empowering parents to raise well-adjusted, happy and successful children.
About This Cause
Yedidim Mentoring Program Provides boys and girls living in Israel with mentors who can be positive role models and provide support to help their mentees succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. Parental Guidance Center Provides Parents with the support and guidance to navigate the challenges of raising children in Israel. This service provides parents with referrals to schools and professionals as well as follow-up support.
