Mission Statement
Our Mission To provide a free medical clinic, eye center health care, nutrition, basic necessities, education and social development to impoverished Hondurans in partnership with volunteer service and medical teams.
About This Cause
What we do Education - We know that through education the cycle of poverty can end.We help students in the cloud forests with sponsorships. We teach in the classrooms, tutor children, help the government build classrooms, and we purchase school supplies for more than 1200 students annually. Medical Needs - “The Clinic of Angels” serves over 100 communities surrounding BelAire, Honduras. Our free medical clinic provides a wide variety of medical care, free medicines and visiting medical teams. Dental - Our Dental clinic provides education, extractions, cleaning and repair. Eye Clinic - Our new eye clinic provides surgeries for cataracts and pterygiae.We have a library of prescription glasses and provide all manner of optical care. Humanitarian Aid - Projecto Honduras has shipped more than 30large containers from the United States with plans to ship more. These containers contain clothes, shoes, bedding, food and all manner of goods to meet the basic needs of children and families. Social Development - Projecto Honduras built a park, soccer field, basketball court and a small stadium thatgives the community a place to meet, celebrate, play and share. Pharmacy - We provide free prescription and over the counter medicine. We visit the underprivileged schools in the cloud forest providing medicine for school children and their younger siblings at home.
