Mission Statement

The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Southern Nevada Inc. sends volunteers to scenes of tragedy at the request of emergency responders. On these scenes, volunteers provide emotional and practical support to victims, family members, friends, witnesses and bystanders.

About This Cause

TIP sends volunteers to scenes of tragedy where emotional and practical support is provided. Typically, this is after a death has occured. TIP averages around 1,600 "calls" per year and supports around 7,000 individuals.
