Mission Statement
Central Baltimore Partnership's (CBP) mission is to galvanize the renaissance of 11 Central Baltimore neighborhoods. CBP works with over 100 partners, including three major anchor institutions -- Johns Hopkins University, Maryland Institute College of Art, and University of Baltimore -- to devise and realize a comprehensive community development strategy called the Homewood Community Partners Initiative (HCPI). Beginning in 2017 CBP initiated a strategic plan to address the needs of six low income neighborhoods in its service area through housing, health, families and youth and work force development.
