Mission Statement
Jars of Clay dab Anita Lane Ministries focuses on providing a safe haven for homeless families and addresses the hardships of homelessness with compassionate care services. We recognize the fundamental worth of every human being and create a safe setting where all youth – regardless of life experience are served without judgment. We meet the basic needs of youth experiencing homelessness by offering a nourishing meal, a shower, clean clothes, medical attention, re-entry and a safe place to sleep.
About This Cause
Jars of Clay Dba Anita Lane Ministries is a home for the homeless teenager and their baby. On any given day or night we provide a safe haven from the streets and address the hardships of homelessness. We offer emergency services to youth in crisis. We recognize the fundamental worth of every human being and create a safe setting where all youth – regardless of life experience or identity – are served without judgment. We meet the basic needs of youth experiencing homelessness by offering stability in housing, education, and childcare for teens with children. Each client is offered a nourishing meal, a shower, clean clothes, medical attention, and a safe place to sleep. Once the crisis is addressed and deescalated, we offer compassionate care through family reunification or long-term housing, employment assistance, and child care. Volunteers are encouraged to support the mission by becoming an Ambassador (life coach), a friend, a teacher or life coach until their teenager becomes self-sufficient. Our outreach provides life-changing services 365 days a year!
