Mission Statement
The Giving Gown Foundation serves low income and homeless teen girls in a unique way! The girls come to us for a prom dress, but they leave with so much more. We strive to empower every girl we serve.
About This Cause
We are a non-profit that provides prom gowns, shoes, accessories, on-site alterations, and a swag bag of hygiene and beauty products, all free of charge, to low income and homeless teen girls. Most importantly each girl will attend a self-esteem workshop and a round table discussion with their councilors and peers. Each girl is paired with a personal shopper who will encourage and uplift her, so that she learns the true meaning of beauty. It is our goal to teach them that they are beautiful, capable, and worth of great things. Because our organization is ran completely by volunteers, all of the money donated benefits the girls we serve. Thank you for helping us empower girls, one dress at a time!
