Mission Statement
The World Taiji Science Federation (WTSF) is dedicated to promoting the integration of traditional Taiji, Qigong, Wushu, and sports with modern scientific research through international collaboration, educational outreach, and evidence-based practices. Our mission is to advance the practical application of these disciplines in physical and mental wellness, rehabilitation medicine, and sport- and exercise-based health interventions. WTSF brings together global experts in medicine, sports science, education, and traditional martial arts to drive research, establish international standards, and foster innovation. We regularly organize scientific forums, academic conferences, and professional training programs. We also publish the Journal of Taiji Science (JTS) and host prestigious events such as the World Taiji Science Forums and the World Wushu Open Championships (WWOC) to promote the modernization and global recognition of Taiji, Qigong, Wushu, and related wellness practices. To cultivate future leaders in these fields, the Federation has established the International Youth Taiji Wushu Elite Scholarship Program, which supports and mentors outstanding young practitioners around the world, empowering them to carry forward the legacy of Taiji, Qigong, Wushu, and sport with integrity and excellence.
