About This Cause
Meals from the Heartland is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that engages volunteers to package meals for food-insecure people in Iowa, across the U.S. and around the world. Individuals, businesses, schools, churches and organizations come together during Meals from the Heartland packaging events to show the world what people who truly care can accomplish. Nine, 2-hour shifts are available weekly, Tuesday - Saturday at the Packaging Center located in West Des Moines, Iowa.
