Mission Statement
The Lake Auburn Community Center is situated On six pristine acres of land, located at 115 North Auburn Road at the historic West Auburn farm site. The property now belongs to the Lake Auburn Watershed Neighborhood Association (LAWNA) a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation. The LAWNA will permit the general public and participating clubs and organizations access to its property for various uses at no cost. The LACC promotes low impact recreational opportunities that limit the potential for erosion such as walking, hiking, running, nature observation, fishing, picnicking, cycling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Additional uses include: a tree nursery, volleyball/skating, disc golf, frisbee sports, skijoring, archery hunting, horseshoes, tetherball, winter fat biking and occasional outside community arts events.
About This Cause
Our motto REC...Recreation, Environment & Community. Extensive public trail network open year round to walkers, bikers, fat biking, skiing, snowmobiles, equestrian, snow shoeing and ski joring. Home of the West Auburn historic farm and barn and trail grooming operations from the partnering Perkins Ridge Sno-Travelers.
