About This Cause
The SHARE Fund is a registered 501c3 nonprofit charitable outreach agency which provides various types of material and financial support to families and individuals in need during emergencies or times of severe hardship. Our primary goal is to provide the needed resources of food, shelter, and clothing. We assist our neighbors in need during difficult times, addressing immediate needs as well as guiding families on a path to self-sufficiency, and refer to other agencies and resources when eligible, thus maximizing aid. SHARE Fund Operates: -SHARE Fund Food Pantry (Gerry's Food Pantry), providing free food resources to prevent or alleviate hunger as well as providing "pop-up pantries" at local low income/senior housing; -The Community Diaper Bank, which distributes free diapers and wipes to keep our youngest residents, as well as incontinent adults, clean, dry, & healthy; -The Thrift Store, offers free clothing and household goods to qualified households in need; as well as we are open to the public at very low prices -SHARE Fund Emergency Financial Assistance, providing housing assistance to prevent or alleviate homelessness, help with basic utilities to ensure families have healthy homes, safe to operate transportation, and support for urgent medical needs. The SHARE Fund has been a reliable resource for people in need for over 30 years!
