To foster the growth of young athletes in the sport of volleyball and life by providing quality coaching, training and competition at a reasonable time and financial commitment.
About This Cause
Eclipse ( 日食排球俱乐部 of Bay Area) pioneered the concept of a "Hybrid Area League Program”. For over 20 years, we have been providing players the opportunity to experience an elite level of coaching with low cost and time commitment as we promote local competition without travel. These donations contribute to a scholarship fund to help families to be able to participate in the sport of volleyball. Key pillars to the program: Flexibility with schedule and commitment level Hands-on coaching approach in small cohorts divided by skill level (small player to coach ratio) Low cost (Eclipse is nonprofit 501C). Community based. Family atmosphere as Eclipse is family-run, founded by world-level coaches Tian, Peilan and now managed by their son Dan. We have many ex-Eclipse siblings, friends, neighbors playing or coaching in our club.
