Our mission is to empower low-income, first generation college students to graduate and obtain a job that aligns with their career goals.
About This Cause
The Peninsula College Fund's (PCF) mission is to empower low-income, first-generation college students to graduate and obtain a job that aligns with their career goals. Since 2005 PCF's goal is to transform lives through college success and entry into rewarding careers. This transformation will ripple outward to their families, intergenerationally, and communities to: break the cycle of poverty, and achieve systemic, enduring institutional change measured through diverse, equitable, inclusive educational, social and economic outcomes in underserved communities. These outcomes will benefit all of us who live and work in Silicon Valley and beyond. PCF provides four-year college scholarships, one-to-one mentoring, college and career success training, and summer internship support to students from San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
