Mission Statement
The Bedford Public Library Foundation seeks to promote a secure financial future by raising funds for an endowment. Our goal is to enrich, not replace, traditional tax-based support for the library through gifts, grants and bequests from individuals and organizations to support library programs and projects not normally met by public funding. The Bedford Public Library Foundation is recognized as a 501 (c) 3 by the Internal Revenue Service.
About This Cause
The Foundation works to raise funds for long-term Library projects such as equipment, furniture/fixtures, and technology. We are focused on funding items that enhance customer service and support our state-of-the-art Bedford Public Library. As the population continues to age, the Foundation is committed to providing Low Vision equipment to assist patrons losing their vision. This equipment in the designated Low Vision Room and throughout the library.
