About This Cause

We are a dedicated feline rescue organization with a great amount of passion. We serve lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, to trap, spay and neuter cats to reduce the feral cat population. We find forever homes for the adoptable ones and their kittens. We spay and neuter approximately 250 feral cats a year, and save an average of 100 kittens a year, placing them in loving homes. Homeless Cats are a Sad and Serious Problem. Besides the suffering this causes, it also leads to overpopulation, with young kittens having 3 litters a year, with 4 to 6 kittens per litter. Homeless cats become colonies, trying to survive, searching for food and freezing in the harsh New England winters. They can develop diseases and infections or become prey to coyotes and hawks. Our goal is to reduce the feral cat population by spaying and neutering, while at the same time educating the public. And perhaps most importantly, we seek to find warm, loving homes for the thousands of kittens who, otherwise, would remain as stray or feral cats subjected to this harsh reality. to adopt a kitten locate us at Pitter Patter Feline Rescue
