Mission Statement
We are dedicated to providing refuge to the many abandoned, abused and neglected dogs of our community and placing them in appropriate homes where they are members of the family.
About This Cause
Family Addition Dog Rescue is a501c3 non-profit organization located inCharlotte, NC and the surrounding area. We are a small volunteer-based rescue withall of our dogs residing in foster homes. We work hard to help save lives, rehabilitate the broken, and find their happily furever afters. We pull dogs from several localshelters, many of whom are at high risk of euthanasia. We are not a first come, first served rescue. We truly strive to find the best fit for each particular dog based on their personality and needs. Ouradoption processrequiresan application, giving personal and vet references, as well as a home visit. All of our dogs are vaccinated, are spayed/neutered,microchipped, and kept on flea and heartworm preventatives while in our care. Our fosters work hard onpotty training, socialization, and any other things that need to be improved. Our goal is to help make our foster pups the bestboys and girls that they can be and to get them ready as possiblefor their new home and family!
