Our mission is to build families and for every child in an orphanage to find a healthy loving family.
About This Cause
In Ghana, West Africa many children end up in orphanages not because they have no family, but due to poverty, fraud, or misrepresentation. The Kaeme Foundation seeks to help reunite orphanage-housed children in Ghana with their families. Our team of psychologist and social workers build profiles on each child living in an orphanage. These profiles are then used by the Ghanaian Department of Social Welfare to create care plans for each child that allow children to be reunified with their families or placed in alternative family-based care.
