About This Cause

The Foundation at LMCH is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a philanthropic arm of the Lake Charles Memorial Health System. Funds raised by The Foundation at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital are used to support programs and services, improve facilities, and advance technology that will directly impact the lives of patients. It is through the generosity of donors and partners that we are able to enhance the health system’s mission of compassionate care, community services, and cutting-edge technology for the people of Southwest Louisiana. PROGRAM FUNDS There are many philanthropic opportunities that match the interests and passions of our donors. By enhancing services and programs throughout the health system and addressing the needs and barriers to a patient’s cycle of care, The Foundation prioritizes good stewardship of financial resources through transparency and accountability. Because of our strategic partnerships, we encourage collaboration through communication, community presence, and engagement. The Foundation at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital hosts numerous programs throughout the year to keep donors, patients, employees, and the community involved with the Foundation and Memorial hospital.
