About This Cause
MESA-OUTREACH, INC. is a 501c3 Charitable Organization which serves as a community outreach organization in and around the Northwest Houston, Cypress, Katy areas. MESA's Food Pantry is not zip code specific and it is one of the few night pantries in Harris County, Texas. The MESA Food Pantry distributes non-perishable foods every Tuesday and Thursday Evenings from 3:30 - 7:00 pm by appointment only. To schedule your food pantry appointment, go online to www.mesa-outreach.org and click on curbside/comida pickup sign up. MESA is passionate about helping the most vulnerable, with programs and services focusing on helping kids and their families, with an emphasis on life changing services in our community. We offer food and basic needs through our Food Pantry Program and Special Events: Stuff the Bus in August and Share the Table in November. MESA partners with the Houston Food Bank and their Produce Truck comes each month on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:30-11:00 am. The HFB Senior Box Program is also available to pick up on the 2nd Thursday every other month: June/Aug/Oct/Dec 2023. Our Books to Kids Programs distributes books to PreK through 5th grade students so they can read at home and start their own home library. Scholarships are available to High School Seniors in need, who volunteer in their community and are continuing their formal education after high school. At MESA-OUTREACH, we are neighbors helping neighbors in need. Our communities are made up of neighbors. All of us have talents, resources, and time to share with one another.
