WEConnect International helps drive money into the hands of women business owners by enabling them to compete in the global marketplace.
About This Cause
WEConnect International is a global network that connects women-owned businesses to qualified buyers around the world. Our vision: A world in which women have the same opportunities as men to design and implement business solutions that create wealth and the sustainable prosperity of their communities. Our work: WEConnect International connects member buyers to women-owned sellers globally, enhances their capabilities to transact business and instills confidence that sellers meet buyers’ standards for women-owned businesses. We do this by connecting. We break down barriers that prevent women business owners from connecting to each other and to new market opportunities, including connections to local and multinational member buyers. We do this by educating. We educate women business owners on how to access new markets and grow their companies, and buyers on how to identify and source from women-owned businesses. We do this by assessing. We identify women-owned businesses, assess their readiness to access new markets, and deliver a certification for Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) wanting to do business with large buyers committed to global supplier diversity and inclusion.
