Mission Statement
IS 318, a Title I school that proudly serves our vibrant community, offering enriching programs that foster growth, development, and unity among our students. We take great pride in nurturing the talents and aspirations of our students. In addition to academic excellence, our institution is known for its award-winning chess team and band, which have earned accolades and recognition in our region. These programs, along with other enrichment activities including dance, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, photography, ceramics, and art, are integral to our mission of providing a well-rounded education to our students. Our school's mission extends beyond the classroom. We are dedicated to fostering a sense of community by providing opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors to come together in support of our school. This includes raising funds and gathering volunteers to support a wide range of enrichment, community, and educational activities. We work in close partnership with the IS 318 Administration to ensure that all of our endorsed or supported events are inclusive, welcoming, and aligned with the core values of our school.
