Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Portland Housing Services Corporation to support the provision of housing and services to low income residents of the Portland Housing Authority, the City of Portland, and surrounding communities, and under-served community groups through the funding of affordable housing development and human service, multicultural, grassroots, and community organizations that provide educational, self-sufficiency, recreational and/or cultural programming that promote economic advancement, social change, cross-cultural enrichment and/or civic engagement.
About This Cause
Sagamore Village is one of the properties the Portland Housing Services Corporation services. The elected Town Hall representatives are throwing a Cultural Block Party for its residents. They are looking for volunteers or donations to help with this event. There will be a Wildlife Encounter exhibit, many health booths, a Fire Truck, and grilled food and beverages for the families.
