Mission Statement
Andy's Friends is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer cat rescue, devoted to saving the lives of cats and enriching the lives of people by placing cats in safe, loving and permanent homes. We are committed to providing veterinary medical care to the cats and kittens in our care and educating the community on topics such as spaying/neutering, declawing and the prevention of animal cruelty.
About This Cause
We rescue cats from a variety of circumstances. Most are stray cats that were abandoned and neglected, or cats rescued from high kill shelters where friendly and adoptable cats are in danger of being euthanized for space. All cats receive full medical care including spay/neuter, vaccinations, blood testing, treatment for internal and external parasites and any other medical attention needed to resolve painful chronic or immediate concerns such as abscesses, wound care, dental issues, broken bones etc. Our cats and kittens are featured in area pet supply store and on-line. We rely on donations from our supporters, adoption fees and our network of volunteers and fosters to continue our lifesaving work.
