Mission Statement

The primary function of Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse (RAACA) is to support children, their families, and communities through public awareness, education, advocacy and networking to prevent child abuse and reduce its devastating impact.

About This Cause

Objective and Purpose of RAACA: Provides support services and financial assistance to the victims of child abuse and their families. The specific objectives and purposes of RAACA shall be; a) raise awareness of child abuse, b) child abuse prevention, c) fundraising, d) providing support services to victims of child abuse, e) providing financial assistance to victims of child abuse, and f) sponsor events supporting victims of child abuse. Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse of Erie County, Pennsylvania is a small nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in Erie County in 2009. Our primary goal is to prevent child abuse by supporting children, families and our community through public awareness, education, and advocacy. Each year we work diligently to serve the community in a variety of different ways, such as maintaining the Victims Lounge located in the Erie County Courthouse, financially assisting children and their families throughout the litigation process, as well as maintaining the ‘Angels Gone Too Soon of Pennsylvania’ Memorial located at 9333 Tate Road, Erie, Pennsylvania 16509.
