Mission Statement
The Austin Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
About This Cause
Austin Angels is a foster care nonprofit that was created to help empower children and families, and build sustainable foster homes. We wrap community around children in foster care, as well as their caretakers, by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship. We accomplish this through our Love Box program (which matches dedicated volunteers with foster or kinship families), as well as our Dare to Dream program (which matches mentors with youth in foster care ages 11-22). What started here in Austin, TX has continued to grow and expand. In 2016, we launched National Angels and opened our first chapter in Amarillo, TX. We now have 22 chapters nationwide and counting. Our vision is to have a chapter in every major metropolitan city in the United States and reach every single child in the foster care system.
