Mission Statement
At Alta Vista School, our vision is high, deep and far-reaching: to lay the foundation in each child for a lifetime love of learning and exploration. We provide our students a rigorous and fun education through progressive, experience-based learning grounded in the scientific method and delivered through small class sizes. We embrace the wonders of science, math and technology, cradled in the hands of the written and spoken word, united in the beauty and creativity of art. We believe in educating children in ways that help them grow dynamically, with a passion for learning. We utilize a vigorous, interactive approach to engage the imagination and nourish curiosity.
