About This Cause
Our main goal at Orphan House Foundation is to take care of needy orphans around the world, especially in Afghanistan. We have currently leased a home in Kabul, Afghanistan where we house our orphaned kids, send them to private school, private driver, maid, tutors, physical education teacher, and medical care. Our aim at Orphan House Foundation is to raise these kids as we would raise our own kids here in America. Due to the 30 years of war that has devastated Afghanistan, there are thousands of orphans that live on the street and are being used for child labor. At times, they are bought and sold as commodities. We would like to take care of as many of these orphans as possible so that they have the opportunity to grow up with a good education, as well as good mental and physical health. Our hope is that these same orphans will in turn become responsible members of their society. By sponsoring us, you will be providing towards the future of orphans who would otherwise go hungry and grow up on the street. We started out with 3 kids in 2011, and with the grace of god, we are up to 21 kids, including 3 girls. We at Orphan House foundation do not benefit from this work monetarily, we volunteer all of our time, and all of the money that is collected goes towards starting and maintaining the orphanage. All of your donations are tax deductible as we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the State of California.
