Generation Hope surrounds motivated teen parents and their children with the mentors, emotional support, and financial resources that they need to thrive in college and kindergarten, thereby driving a two-generation solution to poverty.
About This Cause
How does Generation Hope make a difference? One: Bold, New, and Innovative Program. We are one of the only organizations across the country specifically dedicated to helping teen parents graduate from college. In the last six years we've made a significant amount of progress, but we are still focused on strengthening this much-needed focus area. Two: Getting involved with Generation Hope is a very personal experience. You can truly see the impact of your contribution in the lives of our Scholars and their children. Whether you become a GH Sponsor, a Corporate or Community Partner, or a valued volunteer, our program model allows you to become an integral part of our vital work. Three: Investment in the individual, the family, and the community. Generation Hope's program begins with the teen parent but also has a long-lasting impact on the lives of their children and the vitality and strength of the communities in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia
