Mission Statement
"Operation Care for Troops" ships care packages to US deployed troops. Our objective is letting troops know we are thinking of them with cards, notes, protein bars, beef jerky, lotions, sun screen, hand-made scarves, etc. The packings are held at the NH National Guard Armory on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua, NH. “Operation Care For Troops” has evolved and expanded its mission to include helping those who have returned home. OCT works with the NH VASH program by supplying Holiday stockings for the children of service families in transition and displaced veterans. OCT supplies Holiday Stockings for veterans in transitional housing and homeless veteran programs in NH . Operation Care for Troops has shipped 128,921 care packages as of April 2024.
About This Cause
Operation Care for Troops' mission is supplying soldiers, troops in Iraq, Kuwait, Africa, Syria, Korea, etc... wherever deployed with various items in the hopes of making their job a little easier with assistance from caring, devoted volunteers. Further, "Operation Care for Troops" supports "Stand Down Day" in Nashua for local displaced veterans. "Operation Care for Troops" works with Harbor Cares "Veterans First Transitional Housing" and Liberty House in Manchester supporting homeless and displaced veterans with product and Holiday Stockings.
