About This Cause
The goal of The State of Texas Kidney Foundation is to improve the health and well being of people at risk or affected by kidney disease through education, prevention and support and by increasing organ donation and transplantation. Our vision is to: - Provide early detection and prevention training tools to people at risk for kidney disease - Provide education and training to healthcare professionals, caregivers, patients, and the public - Provide mental and emotional support for constituents and caregivers affected by the disease - Collaborate with key partners to initiate grass roots public health initiatives and policy change
