Keep Children in School Foundation KCIS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-political and non-denominational organization that provides financial support for educational needs of children in underserved areas. KCIS was registered as a charity in 2010 in the state of California with tax ID# 27-4287052 and received its OFAC license (IA-16947) from the department of treasury in 2012, and has been operating under OFAC provisions ever since. KCIS operates with the core objective of connecting sponsors directly with children whose families face financial constraints that hinder their education journey, ensuring uninterrupted learning from elementary school all the way to college. Beyond financial assistance, the organization utilizes the donated funds to offer comprehensive support, encompassing mental and emotional well-being, healthcare provisions, family strengthening initiatives, and various forms of aid to the sponsored students. Beyond the realm of individual sponsorship, KCIS demonstrates its dedication by actively participating in and endorsing a diverse range of collective educational ventures. These encompass projects like the Savad-D (Digital Literacy) application, the Farhang school catering to Afghan refugee students, the Read with Me program, efforts to equip schools in marginalized areas of Iran, and initiatives centered around coding and web design education, among numerous others.
