Mission Statement
Sarah Michelson, Inc. supports the development, presentation and touring of dance and artistic projects by choreographer/director Sarah Michelson. The mission of Sarah Michelson, Inc. is to sustain an ongoing collaborative laboratory for the rigorous investigation of new dance/art ideas, processes and forms that results in contemporary work that challenges the current discourse on dance, nationally and internationally. Sarah Michelson, Inc. fosters long-term collaborative relationships with experimental artists of diverse media (music, literature, visual arts, video) in order to utilize the form of dance to circumnavigate the visual, spatial and empirical repercussions of that same form.
