Mission Statement
The Brooklyn Youth Music Project is dedicated to extending the reach of musical training to young musicians in Brooklyn and beyond, to supporting the development of life-long learners and to contributing to a culture of youth musicianship.
About This Cause
The Brooklyn Youth Music Project is an independent, community-based, 501(c)3 organization serving musicians ages 5 to 18 through its after-school orchestra and jazz programs and its summer camps; reaching children of diverse backgrounds in Brooklyn and beyond, and offering needs-based scholarships to low-income students.
