Mission Statement
In loving memory and caring spirit of Jesus Christ, Kansas Christian Home exists to provide social and health services, to meet the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of its residents. Kansas Christian Home’s emphasis of service is to older adults, although recognizing God’s love has no limits.
About This Cause
Kansas Christian Home is a continuing care retirement community located just north of Wichita in Newton, Kansas. It was established in 1962. Its 24 acre campus includes a skilled nursing facility licensed for 52 residents (Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and private pay), independent living homes (with both ownership and rental arrangements available), and "Independent Living Plus" apartments for independent residents who desire additional levels of services. KCH offers a licensed home health program. A full range of activities and other amenities are available to residents. During the current Covid19 pandemic, KCH has enacted various protocols (social distancing, mask-wearing, regular testing of employees and residents, and a ban on visitation by non-residents) to assure the health and well-being of residents and employees. KCH is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization in covenant relationship with the Kansas Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
