About This Cause
MARLEY’S MUTTS DOG RESCUE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of local at-risk shelter animals. When shelters are overcrowded, euthanasia is often the only solution the county has to control the population. Lost and abandoned dogs need all of us to save them from death. After rescue, Marley's Mutts trains, rehabilitates and rehomes dogs through the adoption and foster and transport programs. In addition, Marley's Mutts utilize the rescued dogs to transform people's lives. Through the power of the human-canine bond, we empower dogs and people to live healthy, happy and productive lives. Marley's Pawsitive Change Prison Program helps create hope and opportunity for pets and incarcerated people so both may find a path home. Marley's Miracle Mutts Therapy Dog Program is facilitated by dedicated advocates, volunteer pet parents to bring about healing to vulnerable and underserved members of the community resulting in rescued dogs, rescuing people.
