Big Brothers Big Sisters is a youth mentoring program providing services to youth age 6-18. the youth are matched with trained and trusted adults/high school volunteers. The matches are supported by professional staff.
About This Cause
Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1 to 1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Big Brothers Big Sisters partners with parents/guardians, volunteers another sin the community to hold ourselves to accountable for each child in the program to achieve: Higher Aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships; Avoidance of risky behaviors such as drugs, alcohol and the juvenile justice system; Educational Success. Big Brothers Big Sisters services as a prevention service for children considered to be at risk.
