Mission Statement
Pet Friendly Services of Indiana is Indiana's statewide leader in saving lives. Our financial assistance programs fund thousands of spay/neuter surgeries each year, addressing the root cause of overpopulation and helping shelters move toward zero-kill status.
About This Cause
Pet Friendly Services of Indiana supports the work of over 300 rescue groups and municipal shelters across the state. We provide these organizations with free spay/neuter certificates for animals in their care and for community cats. Together, we are reducing euthanasia numbers by preventing overpopulation. Pet Friendly Services also provides $25 spay/neuter surgeries to limited-income individuals so they can afford to fix animals in their care. Stray animals tend to roam in limited-income areas, and many of the residents wish to help. This program allows them to not only fix their own animals, but to help their community by fixing and adopting strays and by fixing community cats. Pet Friendly Services runs special programs, to help animals that are particularly vulnerable and to assist in areas of the state where resources are extremely limited. We work with 110 shared-mission vets, who perform the surgeries for our clients. Since our inception in 1977, we have facilitated more than 195,000 surgeries. When you support the work of Pet Friendly Services, you support rescue groups, shelters, and good-deed-doers all across Indiana!
