About This Cause
Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, God's Pantry Food Bank secures, stores, and distributes food products to 50 counties within Central and Eastern Kentucky. As a regional food bank, GPFB is a member of the Feeding America network. Our objective is to reach anyone who is experiencing hunger or at risk of hunger in the areas we serve. This mission is accomplished through the distribution of 26 million pounds of food directly through food pantries in Lexington and through distribution to 290 agencies in the service area, who offer direct assistance to those in need. In addition, the Food Bank provides targeted assistance to at risk groups, children and seniors, and underserved areas through direct service programs into those communities.
