Mission Statement
Helping Those in Need Our mission at Third Phase is to provide food, shelter, clothing, and safety to those in need. We are a faith-based ministry welcoming all religions, receiving no federal, state or local government funding. To continue our mission of presenting a hand-up, not just a handout, we rely solely on the charitable donations of generous citizens, businesses, churches, and corporations.
About This Cause
*Third Phase operates an emergency shelter for homeless men & women. Our shelter provides safety & protection from the elements while simultaneously reducing the environmental impact on the community. We give empowerment to our residents so they can become agents in their own futures and destinies and become productive citizens. *Third Phase is also a food pantry that served over 80,000 food insecure individuals in the year 2022. We obtain our food through private donations and our food rescue program. Third Phase also has a thrift store that is open to the public. All of our profits go to support our mission. Through our thrift store, the residents receive clothing at no charge. Once our residents get out on their own we help to furnish their new residence. We also serve the unemployed, underemployed, and at-risk citizens. These families and/or individuals are referred to us through a voucher system.
