Mission Statement

The Floyd County Animal Rescue League is a non-profit local grassroots animal welfare organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals. We sponsor spay &neuter programs and provide adoption and medical support for the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter. We have volunteers that donate many hours towards the care and adoption of shelter animals. FCARL also helps reduce the number of unwanted and homeless animals by providing spay and neuter vouchers for companion animals of Floyd County. Medical vouchers are also available to Floyd County residents to help assist in covering urgent veterinary visits. FCARL also has a Trap, Neuter, Return Program dedicated towards getting the community cats of Floyd County spayed and neutered.

Mission: To educate the community in the humane treatment of animals and responsible and enjoyable pet ownership. To reduce the number of unwanted animals in Floyd County. To assist and support the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter.
