About This Cause
The Washington Bottom Community Building, Washington, WV would like to respectfully request a donation from your business. The Community Building will be holding our annual bingo fundraiser on Saturday April 24, 2021. The fundraiser helps with the yearly expenses of paying the building insurance and grounds upkeep. Due to COVID we had to cancel our annual fundraiser last spring, we tried to host the fundraiser in late summer but again COVID restrictions, and we lost many of our rentals last year and funds are getting tight. So, with bans being lifted we are trying once again. The Community Building and the surrounding area is a particularly important part of this small community. Residents utilize the tennis courts, basketball court, picnic shelter, and the use of building for various functions. The building is also used by the county as a polling precinct for elections and the Washington Bottom Lion’s Club for fundraisers that supports various youth groups.
