Mission Statement
The El Sereno Stallions is a non -profit organization whose purpose is to mentor children through sports. We currently mentor two hundred children (ages 5 - 14) from our Community and surrounding neighborhoods. Our mission is to encourage athletic endeavors promoting physical, mental and moral development of the youth within our program by providing the means through which the individual child shall receive education and instruction through football or Cheerleading to develop a sense of fair play and honesty through healthy competition. Our organization utilizes sport as a vehicle to have the youth emerge as strong outstanding citizens.
About This Cause
The El Sereno Stallions is a non-profit inner-city program which takes great pride in its community. During the 2018 season, the organization developed community engagements such as neighborhood cleanups, free exercise camps, a Trunk O treat (a safe Halloween event for community families) and Christmas giveaways. We also encouraged participation in a kite festival in celebration of earth day, community movie nights and a march for peace. All events are to promote community pride.
