Mission Statement

The 95th Bomb Group Memorials Foundation is an IRS approved 501(c)3 organization whose purpose is to educate the public regarding the history of the 95th Bomb Group (H) and its role in the air campaign over Central Europe during World War II.

About This Cause

To accomplish this purpose the Foundation develops and maintains exhibits, promotes the study and recognition of the emotional involvement of the aircrews and their related attached units, provides for appropriate recognition of all members of the 95th Bomb Group who gave up their lives, and serves as a philanthropic corporation. The 95th Bomb Group Memorials Foundation is also charged with the preservation of memorials created by the veterans of the 95th Bomb Group Association, our predecessor organization.These include, but are not limited to memorials located at: The 95th Memorial Room in the 390th Museum at the Pima Air and Space Museum, Tucson AZ, the United State Air Force Academy Memorial Cemetery, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery, the 95th Last Plane Down Memorial at the Air Force Air and Space Museum in Dayton, Ohio. Simply Put, Our Mission is to educate the public of what the brave men of the 95th did in turning and winning the Air war in Europe during WW II and in preserving the Memorials they built to the heroes who did not come home.
