Mission Statement
Friends of the Language Academy's mission is to provide financial assistance and support for the instructional, educational, and recreational needs of students enrolled or previously enrolled at the Language Academy, including but not limited to creating, developing, acquiring, purchasing, or enhancing programs such as garden education, art, music, dance, improvement of existing structures, instructional materials, and multicultural enrichment programs.
About This Cause
Friends of Language Academy, FOLA, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization set-up and run by Language Academy parents. FOLA raises money for, and provides enrichment programs for Language Academy students. All funds raised by FOLA are spent on Language Academy programs and materials. Language Academy is a K-8 public magnet language immersion school in the San Diego Unified School District.
