Mission Statement
For three decades, Guajome Park Academy has been a cornerstone in the educational landscape of Vista and its neighboring communities, standing as one of California's longest-running charter schools. Throughout this extensive tenure, our objective has remained consistent: to offer a diverse array of choices and options rooted in robust instructional strategies tailored to the unique needs of each student. At Guajome, we adhere to the backward design model, a guiding principle asserting that every endeavor should commence with a clear vision of the desired outcome. For us, that ultimate endpoint is encapsulated in our school's mission, serving as our guiding star in all that we do. Every program implemented by Guajome's faculty and staff works to help students develop in a way that embodies our organization's mission. Whether it is in the classroom, on the stage, or on the athletic field, our goal is for our students to be prepared with skills for success in a rapidly changing world. Guajome is a school that is focused on building and supporting its close-knit community of learners, while at the same time offering a wide variety of educational choices and pathways.
