Mission Statement
The Diamond Jubilee Pearls Foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Upsilon Mu Omega chapter is a 501 (c) (3) organization, established in 2003 to provide high school and college scholarships to students in the City of Milwaukee. In addition to awarding scholarships, the foundation also financially supports all of the community service projects sponsored by Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter including AKA Money Camp, Family Fun Day, MLK Day of Service, Breast Cancer Walk/Run and numerous other service projects.
About This Cause
The Diamond Jubilee Pearls Foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter, has been providing educational scholarships to young scholars pursuing post-secondary education for the last 25 years. With the financial support that we provide, these young scholars, from our community can attend institutions of higher learning.
