About This Cause
Children’s Home (CHWC) is a standalone, private, Not-For-Profit child and family serving agency, assisting communities throughout New York. At Children’s Home, we collaborate with medical experts, educators, child welfare professionals, and community organizations to provide comprehensive, high- quality care for children and their families. Since 1912, CHWC has been dedicated to helping youth overcome trauma and adversity. Our Mission is to partner with children, families, and communities to inspire hope, develop skills, and cultivate healthy relationships for positive futures. With over 100 years of experience in the Human Services field, CHWC remains committed to improving the overall quality of life for all clients and providing related services. CHWC adapts to meet the changing needs of communities across New York State. Today, our philosophy emphasizes the importance of permanency—keeping children connected to their families and communities. To achieve and maintain permanency, our organization offers innovative, research-based resources and supports to help our children and their families thrive. We serve youth and their families to provide individualized health, education, and human services within clients’ very own homes. CHWC offers a robust continuum of care, and our agency embraces change for improved at-home intervention and service outcomes.
