About This Cause
Nature gives us everything we need to thrive. Willamette Partnership helps return the favor. We are a nonprofit based in Oregon that works across the West bringing innovative solutions to environmental issues. Our mission is to increase the pace, scope, and effectiveness of conservation and restoration for people and nature. Emerging information about the connections among seemingly disparate issues like impaired water quality, rates of depression and obesity, habitat degradation, and climate change show us just how tightly humans and nature are intertwined. We partner with a broader set of people than has traditionally been engaged in environmental work to create resilient ecosystems, healthy communities, and vibrant economies. People know us as experts at making the business case for investments in conservation, innovators in policy, and technical specialists with deep knowledge of the conservation sciences.
