Mission Statement
policies that strengthen families and create pathways to education and work. integrated services deliver program that enables working families to find successful outcomes. We’ve joined hands with other like-minded nonprofit agencies to provide workforce development, income support, and financial education to those who need it most. Services of Hope (SOH) realizes our process, Literacy Character Connections (LCC), must impact not only the under-performing students, but the entire school if it is to change from a low performing to a high performing school.
About This Cause
The foundation components of this program, are Literacy Improvement (reading, writing and financial), the other is Social Responsibility Training (“SRT”), which develops character and cognitive thinking and behavior. Connection- social services, Parental involvement, thru(assisting families with food, financial assistance, and life skills). Our Connection (food services program will be enhanced to healthy foods) will serve key communities, through implementation with community partners. We are attacking specific education problems (obesity, huger, literacy,character, and food deserts with focused programs proven on a national level. We provide housing programs and debt management program, budget and rental assistance. Literacy – Ability to read, write and perform math on grade level. • Goal 1: Increase Literacy skills, as shown in better in test scores Goal 2: Character – Ability to show pro-social behavior as well as improvement in cognitive thinking skills and behavior. • Goal 3: Increase Class and School Participation • Goal 4: Demonstrate good citizenship in Behavior/Conduct in school and out Connections – Bringing adults into a positive relationship with students. • Goal 5: Retain more teachers year over year • Goal 6: Increase Parental engagement with students and teachers Secondary part of helping families: offers thru our partnership one-on-one coaching on a variety of financial education topics, including debt management, asset-building strategies, and how to save for the future. Third part : Providing a mobile pantry service to our schools and low income area and Senior.Expand our social services. Fourth area: Work force development Fifth area : COVID-19 Services of Hope Distribute Hope Food Boxes Hebrews 13:16 (NIV) And do not forget to do good and to share with others for with such sacrifices God is pleased. By this time, you’ve begun to feel the significant impacts that the COVID-19 threat has had on our community. We hope you and your family are safe and are taking the necessary precautions to stay well. Hope Boxes come to IBC Services of Hope (SOH) has worked with the Hardie's Family and spent many hours making Hope Boxes to go out to the public and help provide provisions. SOH has worked the last two months helping to keep these families with food. We are now preparing to serve more of these families and we need your help.
